IB Lighting runs Labor Day promotional pricing on Generac and Kohler standby generators through the holiday weekend. Because Generac and Kohler products are subject to manufacturer advertising policies, discounted pricing is shown securely in the cart rather than displayed publicly on product listing pages. To see your Labor Day price, select the Generac or Kohler model that fits your home, add it to cart, and the current promotional price will display at checkout.
What the Labor Day Sale Covers
The Labor Day promotional event at IB Lighting includes the full residential Generac Guardian lineup from 10kW through 28kW, Kohler residential generators across available sizes, and Generac generator accessories and maintenance kits. Free Freight Insurance is included on every generator order regardless of promotional status, meaning your generator ships with full freight coverage at no additional charge on Labor Day orders and year-round.
How to Get the Best Labor Day Deal
Browse the Generac home standby generator collection and identify the model that matches your home size and fuel type. Add the unit to cart to view the current Labor Day price. If you need help selecting the right size, call (800) 674-9019 before placing your order. Our licensed master electrician team can confirm the correct generator size for your home load in a single call, so you purchase with confidence and avoid a return or exchange.
Why Labor Day Is the Right Time to Buy
Buying at Labor Day gives you the promotional price, contractor availability that is higher in September than at peak summer, and enough lead time to complete installation before the fall storm season. Generators purchased in early September can realistically be installed and operational by late September or early October, ahead of the primary northeast ice storm season, the Gulf Coast late-season hurricane risk, and the Midwest freeze events that typically begin in October and November.
Free Freight Insurance: What It Means
Every generator order from IB Lighting ships with Free Freight Insurance Included, which covers the full replacement value of your generator if it is damaged or lost in transit. Standby generators weigh 300 to 500 pounds and ship by freight carrier. Without freight insurance, a damaged shipment becomes a claim dispute with the carrier. With Free Freight Insurance Included, any damage is handled directly through IB Lighting at no cost to you.
