IB Lighting runs Labor Day promotional pricing across two major product categories: standby generators from Generac and Kohler, and electrical wire and cable including NM-B (Romex), MC cable, UF-B direct burial cable, THHN individual conductors, and SER service entrance cable. Labor Day is historically one of the strongest electrical equipment sale weekends of the calendar year, attracting both homeowners purchasing backup power systems and contractors restocking wire inventory before the fall construction rush.
Generator Labor Day Sale
The Generac and Kohler generator Labor Day event covers the full residential lineup. Because Generac and Kohler products are subject to manufacturer advertising policies, promotional pricing is displayed securely in the cart rather than on public product listing pages. Browse the Generac home standby generator collection and add the model you want to cart to see current Labor Day pricing. Free Freight Insurance Included on every generator order.
Wire and Cable Labor Day Sale
The wire and cable Labor Day event covers the most common residential and commercial wire types. NM-B (Romex) in 12/2, 14/2, 10/2, 12/3, and 14/3 configurations from Southwire and Cerrowire. MC (Metal Clad) cable in 12/2 and 14/2 for exposed and commercial installations. 12/2 UF-B for direct burial and outdoor underground circuits. THHN/THWN-2 in all standard gauges for conduit work. SER service entrance cable in 200-amp configurations. Browse our electrical wire and cable selection and add to cart to see Labor Day pricing applied at checkout.
Why Labor Day Is the Right Time for Electrical Purchases
For generators, Labor Day timing aligns with the pre-winter installation window when contractor availability is at its highest and installation completion ahead of fall storms is achievable. For wire, Labor Day marks the end of summer construction season and the beginning of fall interior remodeling work, when contractors and homeowners are actively purchasing materials for projects being completed before the holiday season. IB Lighting ships nationwide with Free Freight Insurance Included, so Labor Day purchases reach customers across the country at the same delivery standard regardless of location.
