3,000 to 3,500 Square Feet
Homes in this range typically have a 4-ton to 5-ton central AC system (or a smaller system with a secondary zone), a 200-amp electrical panel, and moderate to high electrical demand. The Generac 24kW (Model 7261) or Generac 26kW (Model 7327) provides comfortable whole-house coverage. If your home has gas heat and gas water heater, the 24kW is usually sufficient. If your home is all-electric or has a heat pump, the 26kW provides the additional margin needed for electric heating loads.
