Every product purchased from IB Lighting includes the full manufacturer’s warranty as provided by the brand. We are an authorized dealer for the brands we carry, which means your warranty is fully honored and supported by the manufacturer.
Generator Warranties
Most residential standby generators carry a 5-year limited warranty from the date of installation (or from the date of purchase if not installed within a specified period). This warranty typically covers defects in materials and workmanship for the generator engine, alternator, and control systems. Extended warranty options are available from most brands for up to 10 years. Kohler offers a comprehensive 5-year or 2,000-hour warranty that covers parts and labor. Generac provides a 5-year limited warranty with the option to purchase extended coverage.
Transfer Switch Warranties
Transfer switches typically carry warranties of 2 to 5 years depending on the manufacturer and model. When purchased as part of a generator kit, the transfer switch warranty is often aligned with the generator warranty period.
Chandelier and Lighting Warranties
Lighting fixture warranties vary widely by manufacturer and product line. Premium brands typically offer 1 to 5 year warranties against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Crystal components and glass elements may have separate coverage terms.
