This is not a technical error. It is the result of Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies enforced by certain manufacturers.
What Is MAP Pricing?
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is a policy set by manufacturers that establishes the lowest price at which a retailer is allowed to publicly advertise a product. MAP policies exist to protect brand value, maintain fair competition across authorized dealers, and ensure that all retailers compete on service and expertise rather than a race to the lowest advertised price.
How It Works at IB Lighting
For products governed by MAP policies, we cannot display the selling price on the product page, in search results, or in marketing materials. However, there is no restriction on the price shown in your private shopping cart. When you add a MAP-restricted product to your cart, you will see the actual selling price, which may be lower than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
