Each detector plugs directly into a standard electrical outlet, eliminating the need for hardwiring or permanent installation. The alarms use an advanced electrochemical sensor to detect elevated carbon monoxide levels and sound a powerful 85-decibel warning alarm when a dangerous condition is identified.
For added protection, each unit includes a replaceable 9V battery backup.
